Our Process

There are three key steps to selling your home:

01

Making the decision

Selling your home is a big decision, so the right advice is important.

The idea of selling your home can be daunting, but we'll provide you with all the relevant information so that you can make a properly informed decision. In particular, we'll advise you on whether your home will reach the best sale price through auction or private sale.

02

Presenting your home

A well-presented home is a
pleasure to walk into.

Once you've decided to sell, the most important thing to do is make sure your home appeals to potential buyers. Draw attention to major outdoor and indoor features, and uncover any hidden gems.

Then make sure you do the following:

  • Fix those squeaky doors, dripping taps, peeling paint, loose doorknobs, stained carpets, or cracked glass windows
  • Create a feeling of space by clearing out any unnecessary furniture or belongings
  • Remove unpleasant odours from pets, cigarettes or strong food
  • Ensure your baths, showers and sinks are immaculate, and your towels match
  • Add soft music, lights, fresh flowers, heating (in winter) or cooling (in summer) water features, tidy cupboards, and clean windows

If you don't have the time to do this, or you would like the assistance of a professional, we can recommend an established and reliable interior design consultant to furnish and present your home.

03

Marketing your home

Marketing is about showing the potential and selling the lifestyle.

Once we've assessed the unique qualities of your property and understood your requirements, we can establish a sales and marketing program to maximise the sale of your property.

To do this, we showcase your property through a wide range of media:

  • Major real estate websites, such as realestate.com.au, domain.com.au, realestateview.com.au, cayzer.com.au, milliondollarsplus.com.au, thehomepage.com.au and myfun.com
  • An individual property website typically using the property address as the website address
  • Premiere on realestate.com.au
  • Domain Premium Plus
  • Property magazines including The Weekly Review
  • Major newspapers, The Age and The Herald Sun
  • Promotional property brochures and sales boards
  • Editorial requests
